Tactics
In the beginning of Monday's lesson the first thing we did was the Shakespeare game where we would walk around and our teacher would say the name of a character and each character had a specific action we would have to perform. These characters and their actions are:
We then done the same exercise but we weren't aloud to speak this proved difficult to do because our partner did not understand what were trying to say and this could also mean that the audience would not be able to understand what we are trying to say.
Overall this exercise helped us learn that to be a believable actor you need to use your physicality and your voice, you also need to know what your objectives are because without them you wont know how to act out your lines properly
The three things that effect your tactics are
- Helena: we would act really stroppy
- Macbeth: We would shush everyone
- Romeo and Juliet: Get into pairs and pretend to die
- Hamlet: We have to say "to be or not to be that is the question"
- The tempest: Everyone would lay on the floor and the teacher would walk around tapping people, and when you were tapped you have to start a sound scape for a storm.
Two students then created two more characters which were;
- Fairy: for this we acted really creepy and used ours physicality
- puck: We would pretend that we are throwing powder in peoples faces
After that exercise we went into pairs and we had to decide who was A and who was B, during this exercise the only word A was aloud to say was yes and B was only aloud to say no, we are also not aloud to use our physicality e.g. Gestures. This was hard because we couldn't get our opinion across and we lost sight over what we where meant to be fighting about, furthermore we couldn't make our acting believable.

- The mood your in
- Who your talking to
- Your objective in the scene
